Eco-Action News, June 2020

You may have been wondering if Abingdon Carbon Cutters has been forced to grind to a halt due to the coronavirus. Although some of our activities such as the Repair café and Trees group have had their activities curtailed, Edible Abingdon have done some work on the town centre beds and a new Walking and Cycling group has been formed to work out how we can best improve our walking and cycling infrastructure. Two of our scheduled speakers bravely presented their talks to ACC on Zoom and both were well-received. ACC have also had an on-line meeting with Richard Eastham, Abingdon Town Council’s Neighbourhood Planning Consultant.
