2019 is our 6th year of growing flowers and veg behind the kiosk on Abbey Meadow. The bed is in front of the swimming-pool railings.
Thanks to our dedicated team of waterers who draw water from the river with a rope and bucket, everything is thriving in the sunshine. The geese have had their beaks in our vegetable patch this year and so we have had to put up some defences.
We have our beady eyes on the unloved beds opposite the kiosk…
