Bright sunshine took the edge off the biting wind at Easter Saturday’s Local Excellence Market, as Carbon Cutters Christine Whild and Marion Owen and others helped dozens of young people paint real eggshells in glorious colours. The message was that there is fun and great satisfaction to be had in low-tech activities close to home.
