We were delighted when Ed Davey, Minister for Energy and Climate Change, requested to see the site for Abingdon Hydro power scheme on a brief visit to Abingdon yesterday. Carbon Cutters Richard Riggs and Claire Morris were able to show him the plans at a meeting in the Abbey Centre, and request his help to navigate the labyrinth of regulations and applications. He was enthusiastic in his support for this “trailblazing” initiative.
