On the 28th October 2021, Anne Smart, who leads our “Abingdon Cuts Plastic” section, gave a presentation about plastic pollution and how to change our habits. This was at the new Climate Emergency Centre, below Abingdon Museum.
She invited attendees to take the plastic pledge. People made pledges like “I pledge to use shampoo bars instead of liquid” and “I pledge to buy milk in re-usable glass bottles rather than plastic containers”. Anne has offered to host some more sessions on this topic so, if you missed out, there will be another opportunity in the near future.
