Photos from ACC’s “Zero-Waste Coffee Cup Event”

This event took place on Saturday 29th May 2021, the idea being to encourage the use of reusable cups. Organiser Anne Smart reported:
Many people turned up with their reusable cups and were rewarded with free coffee and cake. We also gave out all 80 of the reusable mugs, which were 20 we bought from Oxfam, 10 generously donated by Waitrose, and 50 made for the Town Council.
Many ACC members kindly donated home-baked cakes and, unsurprisingly, they were enjoyed by all who sampled them!
8 people left their details to sign up for the ACC email distribution list – which is great!
So all in all, a big success!
