Wildflower meadow arrives in Abbey Meadows!

The Vale District Council parks dept have been preparing an area of ground between the mini-golf and the river to be a wildflower meadow, designed and masterminded by Lucille.

Cowslips have already been planted, and  Saturday 22nd saw the laying of turves to form the edges of a wildflower meadow, which will now be seeded. Carbon Cutters of all ages came to help lay the turf.

Leo on the heap of earth and turf scraped off by the Vale Council.
