Children in South Abingdon love vegetables!

31 December 2013 by Sally

Toddlers at South Abingdon Children’s Centre are treated to a five-star unique vegetarian meal every Thursday, courtesy of our amazing “Hotch-Potch Cooks” Anthea, Fiona and Maggie, who take whatever the Oxford Food Bank bring and make it into a delicious, nutritious meal for all comers, with the help of the children and their parents.

Less food waste, healthier children who are learning how to cook, and Mums & Dads who are delighted to find new ways to get veggies into their kids and save money!  It’s a win-win-win situation!
