Seed Swap and Our New Projects

Come to St Ethelwold’s House to share seeds of hope for a better world!

Bring your own surplus flower and vegetable seeds and we will have a seed-swap.

But we are not just talking about flower and vegetables – we have some exciting seeds of new projects to share!

• a new “Plastics” group has just started meeting to try to get rid of single-use plastic from Abingdon (bottled water, coffee cups, straws, plastic bags…);
• you will hopefully have read our new newsletter “Eco-action News” sent last month, which welcomes stories and articles from you;
• South Abingdon Children’s Centre will re-open after Easter under local management and we may need help to offer cooking with children there again; and of course
• Edible Abingdon has a whole new growing season ahead of us, with an expanded area down behind the kiosk on Abbey Meadow as well as the bed in Abbey Gardens and the recycling boxes at Old Station House.
