Climate Action Oxfordshire – what can YOU do?

A new website offering practical advice for people in Oxfordshire to reduce their environmental footprint and save energy is now live!

Climate Action Oxfordshire has actions across all levels of impact, effort and cost, and gives an idea of how much money could be saved by adopting certain actions. It also include tips and advice on how to get started.

From smaller changes such as washing your clothes on cold cycle or using rechargeable batteries, to recycling more, eating less meat and – for those with a bigger budget – getting solar panels or an electric car, the website has lots of practical things you can do with the time and money you have to spare.

There are sections for individuals, communities and organisations, across transport, lifestyle, shopping, home and biodiversity.

It is a joint venture set up by Oxfordshire County Council, Oxford City Council, Cherwell, South Oxfordshire, West Oxfordshire, and the Vale of White Horse district councils, and OxLEP – the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
