An interpretation board, explaining the fruit trees planted in 2020 by ACC, has now been installed in Boxhill Park (9th Sept, 2021). The board was designed by Lucille Savin and Catherine McNeil, made by “Nature Sign Design”, and installed by Lucille, Keith Etwell and Clive Elsmore (seen in the photos). It explains the choice of trees and gives details of pollination, picking, storing, pruning, and loads more.
You may remember that bulbs were planted in December last year between the trees to add a bit of colour and give food to the early pollinators.
