We made table decorations from the armfuls of greenery Lucille brought, shared delicious home-made nibbles, gave each other “Secret Santa” presents which cost little or nothing but were chosen with love for the planet, and ended the evening raising the roof with our renditions of Christmas songs and carols. The Hearth with its log fire could have been at any time in the last millennium – full of warm good cheer. Thanks to Lucille, Christine and everyone who made it such fun.
