Bicester Green proved an ideal venue for the workshop which brought 15 participants to Oxfordshire from all corners of the UK to learn new skills, brush up rusty physics and electronics, and be part of a team which really did build a wind turbine in 4 days! You can watch it going up here:
Sophie Cristoffer-Bowes was the only Carbon Cutter on the course, but Claire Morris and her Mum, Priscilla, were there every day, making sure it all ran smoothly, feeding the team, and transporting them to Bicester and back. Claire had raised the funds, not only getting a grant from Oxfordshire CAG, but also from Ecotricity and Global Power Shift. Well done Claire!
