A working group has met with the Mayor and the ‘Abingdon in Bloom’ committee of the Town Council to explore ways to encourage flowers which are pollinating-insect friendly. The aim is to increase the food sources for bees and help our local urban beekeepers as well as local gardeners. Ideas for plantings have been gained from the RHS guides and from a RHS expert.
