Wassail!

31 January 201531 January 2015 by Sally

Caldecott Meadow resounded to the sounds of pots & pans, bells, shakers and cries of “Apple tree! Apple Tree! Wake up Now!” led by the Green Man, as Abingdon Traditional Morris men danced between the apple trees in Abingdon’s first Wassail.

Kat Kelly welcomed us all to the Wassail

Apple juice warmed over the fire

The Green Apple Tree Man arrived with the Morris Men
