“Uniting for Climate Action – how to get to 2 tonnes of carbon per person by 2022” was the official slogan of the Green Economics Institute , based in Reading, at the latest round of UN climate talks, COP23 in Bonn in November 2017.

Miriam Kennet , CEO of the Green Economics Institute, was there and will tell us more. She will also tell us about her new project, “Two Tonnes of Carbon” which she is launching this month.

We will start by watching the “Energy” section of the film “Demain” (Tomorrow), then Miriam will lead us in a discussion.

As usual we will have coffee and cake and excellent conversation!
